Advisory Board

Lauren Brockman, Principal at Convergence Multifamily Real Estate Group

Lauren’s nearly three decades of experience in multifamily rental real estate operations has included financing, development, construction, construction management, property management and asset management of approximately 10,000 multifamily units with a total aggregate value of $925 million. After leaving Allied Realty, where he served for 10 years as principal, Lauren founded Convergence Multifamily Real Estate Group. He is past President of both the Apartment Association (NAA) of Metro Denver and the Colorado Apartment Association (CAA), as well as Chairman of the NAA Political Action Committee. He currently serves on the boards of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) and Momentum Real Estate.

Joseph DelZotto, Founder, President and CEO at Delwest

Joe founded Delwest in 1993 to bring his extensive experience in construction and land development to the Denver market. His background includes the planning, financing and opening of single-family home, townhome, and condominium communities, multi-family buildings and assisted living facilities, as well as the redevelopment of more than 500 distressed residential properties. Under his leadership, Delwest has grown to be one of the most respected developers in Colorado, with a growing focus on  anagement, social impact and programming to help needy residents. DelZotto roots in the industry go back to his grandfather, an immigrant who built what is now one of Canada’s largest residential real estate groups.

Debra Gray, Housing Programs Manager at Denver Housing Authority

Debra has extensive experience in housing production, human services administration, financing and program coordination including multidisciplinary development, capital improvement, project management, housing finance and resource development in complex financial structuring. Prior to joining DHA, she served as Housing Coordinator for the City of Thornton. She is a member of the Adams County Homeless to Home Partnership. Debra also spent nearly a decade in the banking industry with US Bank as a senior loan officer managing marketing and sales, lending, research and analysis for loan underwriting.

Ken Hoagland, Founder and President at Community Capital Corp.

Ken has worked in affordable housing and service provider nonprofits for three decades. As the founder and president of Community Capital Corp., he has considerable expertise in the areas of affordable housing finance and development and nonprofit organizational development. He teaches in the graduate program of the UC School of Architecture and Planning in Denver and frequently advises local governments in program design to support affordable housing. He also has served on several nonprofit boards focused on housing and education, including Mercy Housing, Senior Homes of Colo, Mercy Loan Fund, Housing Colorado, Leading Age, Colorado, First Plymouth Foundation and the Empowerment Program.

Deborah Ross Weseloh, Broker, CPM, NAHP, HCCP, CPO and Founder & Owner at The Ross Management Group

Debi has blazed trails for 30+ years in multi-family development, financing, management, compliance and training. She is a founding member and former president of the Affordable Housing Management Association (Rocky AHMA), a member of the National Leased Housing Association, and an executive member of the National Affordable Housing Association (NAHMA). She has also represented AHMA and NAHMA for the Colorado Safe Neighbor-hood Action Plan (SNAP) and testified before Colorado Senators for the continued need for affordable housing throughout the country. Debi is also a sought-after speaker and trainer for industry groups such as Colorado Housing NOW and HUD.
